Specialty Low Voltage License
West Virginia offers a Specialty License for low voltage work on systems 80 volts or less through the State Fire Marshal's Office. Work over $1,000 requires this license.

- Experience: 1 year (2,000 hours) in specialty area
- Examination: 25-question specialty exam
- Project Threshold: License required for work over $1,000
- Statewide Authority: Valid throughout West Virginia
