Google / Jupiter Star Project Tembo is the cleanest AI data-center construction watch item in today's LVN queue. The Laramie County public notice and July 8 county memo confirm that the former Project Jade data-center submittal is now Project Tembo, that Crusoe Energy withdrew from the data-center portion, and that Laramie County has been working with Google doing business as Jupiter Star Holdings LLC on a re-submittal.
The memo matters because it gives source-backed construction facts instead of rumor. Laramie County says the revised project is scaled down from five buildings to four buildings and from 4,025,500 square feet to 3,080,000 square feet of building space. The same memo says peak construction workforce intensity is reduced from 5,000 to 2,500 and that Tallgrass Energy's associated natural-gas power hub has approvals with construction phases already well underway.
