Job Description

We are seeking experienced field technicians with strong troubleshooting skills who can work independently to restore and maintain client systems with minimal supervision.

A working knowledge of networking fundamentals is required, including the ability to properly ping networks, run network scans, and switch a laptop between DHCP and static IP configurations. The majority of the work is camera and network-related, and technicians must have a solid understanding of camera servers, camera troubleshooting, point-to-point systems, line testing, and the installation and repair of cabling.

Responsibilities also include testing and replacing batteries in pole-mounted and camera tower units. Candidates must have a reliable vehicle and all basic hand tools. Familiarity with common business tools such as Microsoft Outlook and Microsoft Teams is preferred.

While prior experience is strongly desired, we are willing to help the right candidate grow into more advanced responsibilities if they demonstrate the right attitude, work ethic, and foundational skill sets.

The work environment consists of commercial sites; primarily car dealerships, shopping centers, distilleries, data centers, and multi-family properties. Tier 2 IT support is available, and most programming will be handled remotely; however, technicians are expected to have a working understanding of programming concepts and processes.

The average workday consists of approximately four to seven service tickets, five days per week. These are full-time positions suited for someone who is results-driven and takes pride in getting things accomplished.

Houston Area: We are looking for one to two self-sufficient technicians with the necessary tools to cover the entire Houston metro area and all surrounding directions, extending as far as Beaumont. This service area currently carries a workload of approximately 200 pending tickets.

Austin Area: We are seeking one self-sufficient technician with the necessary tools to cover the Austin metro area and surrounding regions, with occasional travel to Waco and Corpus Christi.

Additional Tasks: As assigned; may include assisting with programming, shipping, and general warehouse duties.

Compensation: Dependent on experience and will be discussed during the interview process.

Additional Perks: Will also be discussed at the interview.

Please send a private message for additional information; comments will not be monitored or responded to. Phone calls not accepted.
