Low-Voltage Technician

(BOSTON/MA AREA) My company is looking to bring on a mid level tech. Please read the info below and inquire.

Title: AV / Low-Voltage Technician I–II
Experience: ~1.5–4 years in residential or commercial low-voltage (electrical works too)
Mindset: Detail oriented, willing to learn, becomes part of our team and takes pride in their work.

Location: Greater Boston Area (93/95 North Areas/NorthShore)

Pay: 22 to 45/hr experience dependent

This can be a 1099 situation to start, but we are offering full employment/workers comp/potentially health/company van - for the right hire or after a 6-12 month grace period

Company Description: We cover a wide field but 70% of our work is luxury residential AV, lighting controls, motorized shading, network etc. While the remaining 30% is commercial (restaurants, bars, gas station, club) for AV, Net, Surveillance, Access CTRL etc

Soft Skills:

• Follows standards/checklists

• Takes feedback well & communicates with team

• Can work independently/be taught tasks

Non Negotiables

• Experience on a job site

• Knows how to pre-wire with assistance

• Understands types of cables/connectors

• Termination of low-voltage connectors

• Can read a blueprint/basic design

Bonus/Higher Pay

• Basics of A/V systems and relevant components

• Networking fundamentals

• Experience with Savant/Lutron (or other control systems)

• Lift/OSHA type education
