The Opportunity:

We are seeking a highly experienced and motivated Low Voltage Technician to step into a Foreman role. This is a hands-on, leadership position for a technician who is ready to take charge of projects from start to finish. You will be the face of Unity Surveillance on the front lines, responsible for managing customer relationships, leading on-site work, and ensuring the flawless execution of complex security system installations.

Key Responsibilities:

· Project Leadership & Customer Management:
· Act as the on-site Foreman and primary point of contact for customers, managing expectations and ensuring a world-class experience.
· Lead and direct on-site crews to complete projects on time and to the highest quality standards.
· Provide clear and concise daily updates to Project Managers and the President.
· Technical Installation & Configuration:
· Terminate, test, and troubleshoot access control systems and alarm contacts.
· Install, configure, and focus IP cameras for optimal coverage and performance.
· Install and configure network video recorders (NVRs), storage servers, and network hardware (switches, routers).
· Build out and wire state-of-the-art video monitoring and security centers.
· Configure system software for access control, video management (VMS), and intrusion detection.
· System Integration & Troubleshooting:
· Integrate various security subsystems (CCTV, Access Control, Intrusion) into a unified platform.
· Perform system diagnostics and troubleshoot complex low-voltage wiring and network issues.

Qualifications & Required Skills:

· Must-Haves:
· Minimum of 5+ years of hands-on experience in the low-voltage field, specifically with CCTV, Access Control, and Intrusion systems.
· Willingness and ability to travel extensively. This is a requirement of the position.
· Proven experience in a foreman or lead technician role, with the ability to manage customer interactions and on-site labor.
· Extensive knowledge of low-voltage cabling (CAT5e/6, Siamese cable, etc.), termination, and testing.
· Strong understanding of IP-based systems and network fundamentals.
· Excellent problem-solving skills and a meticulous attention to detail.
· Outstanding verbal and written communication skills.
· Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
· Preferred Qualifications:
· Relevant industry certifications
· Experience with security system design and blueprint reading.
· Familiarity with building codes and standards related to low-voltage installations.
