Project Manager - Commercial Building Tech (AV, Network, Control, Access)

You Are:
A trustworthy individual. Hungry to learn and grow. Someone who has been around construction environments but this is primarily an office position. Detail-oriented, proactive and always curious how things work.

You Have:
Awareness of the built environment (Commercial/MDU) and experience with all three phases of implementation. You have worked with general contractors and other trades, understand what causes delays, and know how to stay proactive. A steady work history (3yrs between hops), a pleasant disposition, Hiqh EQ.

Schedule:
Hours Per Week: Typically 40 Hours Per Week. Additional hours as needed based on projects.
Days Per Week: Monday to Friday (7am-4pm)

Your Contribution to Tech Automation:
THIS IS AN OFFICE BASED ROLE
Primary Point of Contact: Client, In-House Staff, Other Trades, GC, Architect, Rep
Scope of Work: Own the plan, align execution, flag issues early
Project Timeline/Scheduling: Planning, Proactive, Aligned to Resources
Project Profitability: Drive labor efficiency by staying within budgeted hours & eliminating redundancies/preventable mistakes
Work Orders: Issue to team, coordinate with subcontractors & third parties
Quality Control: Ensure all work meets SOW, Plans, Company Standards, Client Expectations
Plan sets/Blueprints: Read, interpret, manifest, mark-up, distribute to team
Change Orders: Create, submit, get approval, execute
Familiarity with construction terminology and documentation (e.g., ASIs, RFIs, GMPs, IFC drawings)

Qualifications:
3–7 years in construction project management (technology or low-voltage PREFERRED)
Prior work on commercial construction sites and/or MDUs
Familiarity with NEC and local codes
Experience (PREFERRED) - Procore, Builder Trend, Bluebeam, etc.

Tech Automation's Contribution to You:
$70k to $110k (Based on Experience)
