Job Description

We are looking for a reliable and detail-oriented Commercial Audio Video Installation Technician to join our team. In this role, you will install, configure, and support AV systems in commercial environments such as bars and restaurants. You'll be expected to work on-site, follow technical schematics, and ensure all systems are properly integrated and functioning. Experience is a plus but willing to train the right candidate looking to start a career as an AV Technician.

Required Skills

• Install, test, and commission commercial AV systems, including projectors, flat panels, video walls, sound systems, microphones, video conferencing units, and control systems.

• Read and interpret AV system schematics, architectural blueprints, and technical drawings.

• Pull, terminate, label, and test various types of low-voltage cabling (Cat5e, Cat6, speaker cable, HDMI, etc.).

• Mount and secure equipment such as TVs, speakers, PTZ cameras, microphones, and ceiling projectors.

• Rack and stack AV components and perform system wiring and cable management to industry standards.

• Integrate control systems and troubleshoot system performance.

• Coordinate with GC, electricians, IT staff, and other trades to meet project deadlines and standards.

• Document installations and provide support to programming and commissioning teams.

• Maintain a clean and safe job site, adhering to OSHA and company safety policies.
