Structured Cabling Estimator

We are seeking an experienced Structured Cabling Estimator to support low‑voltage and structured cabling projects from pre‑construction through bid submission. This role is responsible for preparing accurate, competitive estimates for data, voice, fiber, and related low‑voltage systems across commercial projects.

Key Responsibilities:
Review RFPs, drawings, specifications, and addenda
Perform detailed takeoffs for:
Structured cabling (Cat5e, Cat6, Cat6A)
Fiber optic systems
Pathways (conduit, tray, J‑hooks)
MDF / IDF buildouts
Develop labor, material, and equipment cost estimates
Solicit and evaluate vendor and subcontractor pricing
Prepare and submit complete bid packages
Identify scope gaps, alternates, and value‑engineering options
Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and sales teams
Maintain estimating templates, pricing databases, and historical data
Assist with post‑bid reviews and project handoff
